ABOUT
Much of Queensland’s prosperity has come from the successful management of its natural resources such as coal.
We have established a balance of being competitive to attract investment and then reaped enormous benefits through state royalties and economic activity that reaches far beyond the mine gate.
For the long-term future of Queensland, we must stay competitive.
We must stop governments from raising coal royalty taxes to the highest in the world.
The consequences for future investment – not only in coal, but in all resources and projects, including clean energy projects, are at stake.
We must keep Queensland competitive.
